What type of sleeper are you?

Hello again!
Recently I got inspired about Sleep Awarnessby a company called Casper.

- The mattress -

Casper is a company that sells mattresses which are shippable to your door in a conveniently sized box.
They also have a blog so you can check them out here.

I found it pretty fascinating since lately I've been really into finding the right app to track my sleeping cycle and habits.
I have found myself to have many sleepless nights and having a lot of energy like at 4 in the morning, which for me is the middle of the night. I have never felt so inspired and full of brain activity at that hour. I feel very refreshed and ready to start the day, although my body does give me a lot of signals that it hasn't had it's proper time to sleep and reboot.

Lindsay shared this graphic with me which portrays 6 types of sleepers:
- Can you find yourself in theese? -
It took me quite a long time to figure out how I see myself and after a long thinking process I think I have found myself in three categories/types.

I don't know about you, but have you ever wondered what if computers were made out of fluffy stuffed animal materials instead of all that metallic hardware. I know I sound weird, it just my imagination, because if that were the case I'd probably snuggle with it. So this thought has brought me and you to the conclusion that I am The iSleeper.

I'm definitely the person that sleeps with either the laptop being close or my smartphone. It has become an obsession. And I've developed the need to watch something before I go to sleep even if it's a really old low quality video on YouTube.

Now YouTube is a whole other story on it's own and I'll tell you it is by far the reason why I see myself in the next type - The Night Creature.

It doesn't matter if I have things to do in the morning or not, I'll make sure to stay up all night scrolling through my subscribtions and watching every video that I've missed.
Even if I get sleepy I always find some video that interests me enough to keep myself awake all night.

The problem with this is that it happens often, and if it isn't YouTube's fault, it's my freaking brain activity that suddenly has all these great ideas about my blog, about life, about university, about everything. I must say I can get very philosophical after a certain hour in the morning.

And on other nights when I do actually sleep - I'm sorry if I made you feel like I don't, I do use my bed for sleeping, don't worry - I love making my own cocoon. Now I know this, because most nights I wake up so tangled up in my sheets and blankets that it takes me quite some time to get out of bed.
And let me tell you I bet it's not the most graceful of looks.
I'm literally wrapped up like a chicken wrap and maybe even more than that. So that's why this makes me also The Bed Hogger.

There is probably many more types I could be mentioning, but these three really stood up. I must say they have been very eye opening for me.

I am really glad I found out about National Sleep Awarness month, because it made me think of the things I might have been neglecting. And crucial things like sleep. So much I didn't sleep because it got me inspired to think about my habits and why I am the way I am.

I hope that you have enjoyed this post.

It's a bit different coming from me but, I enjoyed writing it.
And well my question for you is what are your sleeping habits?
Which type are you?

Let me know in the comments!
Thank you for reading and have a nice day,

Colective Haul #1 + Mini Reviews

Hello lovelies !

I've felt quite inspired lately so I thought I'd use it all to blog and fill your feed with posts, why not am I right?
Anyway I haven't been buying a lot of things at once so I was waiting for items to pile up so I can post them collectively.
This are products that I've accumulated from a few trips to the drugstore.

- Ziaja Sensitive moisturizer - Nivea Pure&Natural day cream - Garnier Perfect Blur primer -

1. Ziaja Sensitive Skin soothing day cream with SPF 20: since I bought this moisturizer has become really and important step in my skincare and I like to use it when my skin feels dry and when I need extra hydration. I also love using it under makeup for a more flawless dewy finish.
I do need to mention that it has a specific smell, to me it smells great, nothing particular, kind of like a cream would smell like, but my mom has mentioned that she can not stand the smell of it so I guess that part is individual.
I do recommend it though, because it gives the skin so much moisture.

2.  Nivea Pure & Natural soothing day cream for dry and sensitive skin:
I have been using this one for the past year of year and a half. I'm planing on doing a more detailed post on it, since it is one of my holy grail skincare products.

3. Garnier Perfect blur primer: A newcomer on the market that I have fallen in love with, it works perfect, and I love how smooth it leaves my skin when I apply it. It leaves the foundation looking flawless.
- Alverde wash cream - Alverde Peeling and mask - Alkmene wash creme - Balea peeling -

4. Alverde Clear washcreme: another of my holy grail skincare products. I use it on it's own and in a combination with a peeling.

5. Alverde Clear Peeling and mask: since I love the washcream from this line I thought I'd give a go to the peeling too. I still haven't gotten to using it yet, so I'll keep you posted on that one.

6. Alkmene Washcreme with tea tree oil: this product has surprised me the most from all my purchases, in a positive way of course. I love the smell of it, it's so natural and silky on my skin, I love washing up with it. I also use it to dessolve my makeup before taking it off with a wipe.

7. Balea Enzim peeling: this is another experimental product that I haven't used yet.

- Catrice 1+1 nailpolish - Essence Come to Town Nail set - Essence Come to Town Quad - Essence Come to Town eye pencil -

There is not much I can say about these 4, since they can pretty much speak for themselves with those gorgeous colours.
The Essence ones I got from the winter/Christmas collection, but not just because I love Christmas, but also because I love that deep burgundy red colour.
And the Catrice nailpolishes were just a lucky bonus, plus who wouldn't fall in love with that brilliant topcoat.

That is all I had to share with you today.
I hope you enjoyed reading my post!

Do you own any of these products and what's your opinion on them?
What's the last makeup item you've bought?

Thank you for reading and have a nice day,

A weekend in Vienna

Hey lovelies !

It's been a while since I've posted. Today I was in the mood for a chatty kind of post.

Recently I went to Vienna with my uni colleagues for ECR which is a congress for radiology - which is my choice of possible profit for the rest of my life (I haven't decided on this yet, since you never know what will come your way).
Anyway I spent my time wisely and did as much as I could in those 2 days that we had to spend in Vienna.

Day 1:

The morning portion of the day we spent travelling, never mind it was early I couldn't sleep since I was excited to get there and begin my adventures. By adventures of course I mean getting to the hostel and settling and then exploring Mariahilfer straße for the rest of the day, how adventurous of me right :P

- Train ride - Dunkin' Donuts - Starbucks -
As you may have guessed from the picture by strolling down the street we stumbled upon Dunkin' Donuts and couldn't resist the urge to try something sweet. We went for the Maple Frosted and Pumpkin Spice (not sure about the name with this one).
And than later was time to wakeup and freshen up with some Starbucks Chai Latte, which was surprisingly delicious, I must say I did not expect to like it and I loved it so much that I got another one the next day.

Day 2:

It was a beautiful Saturday and right after breakfast we went to a shopping centre just outside of Vienna called G3 Gerasdorf. I found this shopping centre last year when I searched where was Primark in Vienna. And since last year I didn't have enough time to stroll through Primark and the G3 centre I thought that this year it was time.

- Me and my friend Endi - Tandori Chicken Wrap - A cool jewlery store in Gerasdorf -

What we did was visit Primark mainly, I bought a few bits and pieces there and I'll be sharing them in an upcoming haul. We also went to a few other shops and of course had some lunch. I tried a Tandori chicken wrap and loved it.

- Me being silly on the train -

Later we decided to get back to the hostel and chill for a bit. And after that we quickly went back to the town, again to Mariahilfer straße - you'll begin it's becoming my favourite part of town. And we repeated the ritual - Dunkin' donuts + Chai Latte.
Than we got back, packed out suitcases and got ready for a Saturday night out.

- Underground - Sporty vs. Elegant - Dunkin Dounuts again -

Day 3:

The last day in Vienna was a Sunday and we decided to use up those few hours to go to Madame Tussands which is the museum for waxed figures. I've never been to one so I was very excited to visit it. We had a lot of fun an laughs as the pictures might display below, but time had to cut it a bit short unfortunately.

- Me exploring Madam Tussands for the first time -

- OOTD & FOTD -

After that we went back to the hostel to get our stuff and on the train back to Slovenia. As much as it was nice to get home and relax, I wanted to stay for at least a week and explore the whole town and go to many museums and historical places. But I guess I'll leave it for another time.

I hope you enjoyed this post!
Thank you for reading and have a nice day,
Divna
