Valentine's Day

Hello :)

Yesterday was Valentine's Day and even though I don't have a significant other at the moment,  I do still enjoy what the day celebrates - and that is LOVE - although I do think that we should celebrate love everyday. Is it just me?!

Anyway this is the look that is inspired by this day and some things I bought from the Essence V-day LE collection Love Letters.

I also played around with some nail polishes. As a base I used the Rose in Love and for the red part I used Essie's Twin sweater set and Leading Lady.

I decided to purchase these few products that are quite complimentary - great job on this one Essence.

The Beauty Blogger Tag

Let's begin with the questions :)

1. Name the beauty routine you barely do !
Well this is going to sound bad but sometimes I'm too lazy to put mosturizer before I apply my foundation. Also I used to be really neglecting puting on any eye cremes or gels to my undereye area, but since I've purchased a new eyecream I've been getting better at that step.
Also I skip eyeliner almost everyday.

2. Is washing your makeup brushes something you regularly do?
I love spot cleaning my brushes when I sit down to do my makeup for the day. And for deep cleaning I'm a little lazy, just because it takes so much time if you have a large quantity of brushes. But I like to wash them every 10-14days.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail varnish?
This is something I don't like. That is why I usually invest in long lasting topcoats :)
But even then at a certain point my nail polish chips. If I'm busy I can last 1-3 days, but if not I instantly go and correct it. 

4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail polish product even if you need it (ie. top coat, foundation, etc.)?

For the things that I use a lot and love I usually have another bottle purchased in advance "just in case" :D
And if not, the sooner I can I go. Spending some time in the drugstore and browsing is one of my favourite things to do.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
I am very lazy when it comes to doing my eyebrows. I used to fill them in all the time, and it was a regular step in my routine, but now that summer has passed I've become so lazy at it :D Also another bad habit is buying too many mascaras and using them all at the same time and not each one at a time. 

6. Name something non-beauty related you put off doing all the time?
Washing the dishes and doing school work would be the two winners here :D 

7. When going somewhere do you leace getting ready to the last minute or not?
I don't like doing things last minute (except for school and uni stuff). I usually take about 30 minutes before to get ready like dress myself and put on some makeup. And if i'm going for something more glamorous I take a little more time.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
I'm not even thinking about this answer, because it is a deffinate No No :D
Makeup and spending my money on makeup is a deligthful thing for me. And even it is sometimes bitter sweet I love buying and trying out new things.

9. How organized is your makeup and nailpolish collection?
I try to keep it as organized as possible and I love to reorganize it and change it up once in a while. For now I'm very satisfied with my organization but if I stuble upon some new ideas I might just change it up again. 

10. What is the longest time you have gone without writing a blog post?
I think it is 2-3 months and that was recently because I was neglecting too much my school obligations and as a result I had to neglect my lovely blog.

My Beauty Wishlist

Hello beauty world :)

Today I am greeting you with a rather quick post. 

Since my 21st birthday is coming up soon I thought why not put up a wishlist on my blog. Maybe, just maybe my wishes will become reality:)

1. Bioderma Sensibio H2O - I got some samples from Bioderma and fell in love with this product. I got only 10ml but I used it for about 5 days. Which is positive I love products that a little goes a long way, especially if the product is a little on the expencive side.

2. Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate - I have heard amazing things about this moisturizer. The pixwoo sisters rave about it so much. Also there are many bloggers that have recomended this. I think it is a product worth trying.

3. Macadamia Deep repair Masque - I used to never use a mask on my hair, but lately I noticed it was dry after rinsing out my shampoo. I have been using my Balea Hair mask and don't get me wrong I love it to bits, but this Macadamia mask has so many great reviews that made me want to try it.

4. MUA Palette - Pretty Pastels - I saw this on Lolistick's Blog (here is the link to the Review-click). I immediately fell in love with the colors. They are lovely for spring and summer. And another positive is that shocker I do not own any pastel palettes !!

5. NYX Blush - Two shades pop in my mind when someone says NYX blusher : Pinched and Taupe. The first one is a peach toned blush that has gold shimmer and the second one is a matte taupe color that is perfect for contouring. Enough said, now shut up and take my money :)

6. Butter London nail polish - Spring collection (pastels)- I have been on the hunt for pastel nailpolishes for a while now and I came across this ones in a video on youtube (it was Lindsay's Nailpolish Collection Video)

7. Catrice Cosmetics - Absolute Nude palette - I went shopping with my mom the other day and we found ourselves browsing through Muller. I came across this beautiful palette and fell in love. Even my mom (who is not so much into makeup as myself) said that I should have a palette like this, because of the beautiful neutral colors. Thank you mom :)

8. Figs & Rouge lip balm - Words are not enough to express my feelings for this product. I fell in love the first time I saw this packaging online. I wished for it to be available in Slovenia and after all those sleepless nights, one day I walked into DM and saw a miracle. They had the Figs&Rouge lip balms and hand creams. I had spent my money on other makeup products which has made me wait so long to purchase this product. But this April you will be mine !! :) And if you wanted to know I am going to purchase the Lemon Berry one :)

Mini Beauty Haul

It's been raining all morning in my town so I decided to go out and do some shopping.
I went to my favorite drugstore Muller and got some new beauty items.

1. Essence My Skin moisturizer + Essence My Skin caring cleansing wipe

Quick review: I love the this moisturizer. I've been using it for 3 months now and now I just repurchased it. I will do  a detailed review of this product in the future.

2. Terra Naturi Liquid make-up testers
I open and tried out one of the foundation testers. Even though the coverage and finish was very nice, I didn't like at all the texture of the foundation. I just could not work with it, but I will try out the other tester again and try to work around it.


3. Essence Rebels collection - soft matte lipgloss in Mauve like a Rockstar
This product is exactly what it describes to be. A soft matte lipgloss. I personally love it because I love lip products with matte finishes. If you want you can always add some glossy lipgloss over it or just leave it like it is. Swatches of this product will be in a separate post. 

4. Essence Rebels collection - lip & cheek pot in Peach punk

I was really excited to purchase this product. I love multifunctional products and this was just an amazing addition to my makeup collection. It's a summery color and it gives the right amount of color to your lips and cheeks. Also it's buildable which is a huge plus for me, but it has a matt finish so if you don't like matt products I would not recommend it.
