December Favorites

Welcome back lovelies :)

- December Favorites 2014 -
Today I'll be showing you what I've been loving in the month of December.
There is not much, since I spent almost two weeks in bed being a bit poorly, but that's ok cause now I'm feeling pretty well again.
So without further of due, here are my favorites.

HAIR:

- Balea Hair Milk -
I've been loving this not only this month, but I can pretty much say for almost two years not, it has really become a must have in my hair routine.
I do not only use it when I've washed my hair, but also on non wash days, because it gives great texture to dry hair, not to mention the lovely smell.
I highly recommend it !

- Hair Favorites: Balea Milk, Balea Dry Shampoo -

- Balea Dry Shampoo -
I can go on and on with the Balea brand, belive it or not for a cheap drugstore brand, some products are pretty impresive, and another one for me this month, or should I say even more for my extremly greasy hair, has been this Balea Dry shampoo. It really gives my roots a lot of volume and it stays volumenous through the whole day.
I'm really really impressed with it.

MAKEUP:

- Essence Stay all day concealer -
If any of you have used this concealer you'll know what I'm talking about, It has the perfect amount of coverage and it conceals my blemishes and my under eye circles. I love it.

- Maybelline Colorama Blush 501 -
This plum blusher from Maybelline has captured my heart since I swatched it in my local drugstore, It's lovely for the fall and winter season. And this month it did a great job of creating a healthy glow on my cheeks.

- DVT lipstick, Essence concealer, Essence lipgloss, Colorama Blush -

- Dita von Teese LE for Artdeco -
Since it was December and I felt all captured by the holidays, I opted for this amazing red lipstick. I won't explain too much, because the photo will say it all.

- Essence Circus LE in 01 Applause, applause -
Since some days I wanted an extra sparkle on my lips I combined the DVT lipstick with this res lip gloss from Essence. It's indeed a liquid lipstick, but nevertheless it looks lovely over the DVT lipstick.

- Maybelline Colossal Volume mascara -
I've been a fan of Maybelline mascaras, since I can remember, I think the first mascara I ever purchased was the classic volume express one from this brand. Since than I've tried almost every mascara from their line.
This one makes my lashes really pretty and non-fake, I'm not a huge fan of spidery lashes, so this one did the perfect job, since my lashes still look pretty natural.

- Maybelline Collossal mascara, Kiss Ridge filler -

- Kiss mineral smoothie Ridge Filler -
This base coat was recommended by one of my best friends. I think I purchased it in April and I'm still loving it. It has made a difference in my nails. Especially after I remove a gliterry nailpolish it doesn't scratch my nails as it used to.

RANDOM:

- Yankee Candle: Candy Cane Lane -

- Yankee Candle: Candy Cane Lane -
Who can survive holiday season without some christmas scented candles. I know I couldn't. I stacked up on these especially. I love Candy Canes so this was the perfect scent, since I tend to grab a lot of sweet scents when I like to feel all cozy, It's always either a cookie scent or something cinamonny.

Well that is it for my December Favorites. I really can't belive that it is already January 2015. It amazes me how time flies by.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day,

Balea Hair Mask

Hello lovelies :)

Today I am reviewing Balea's Hair Mask.

About two months ago I was washing my hair and I noticed that my hair felt a little dry when I would rinse out the shampoo.
The next day I went on a hunt for a hair mask. After browsing through Dm's hair section for a while, I finally decided to get the Balea one just because it caught my eye and also it attracted me with its promises.

Product's Information:

- Balea hair mask with peach and silk

- 200 ml
- For dry and damaged hair without shine
- The caring formula with peach and silk extract helps detangle your hair, while vitamins B3 and B5 help to nourish them.
- It is a specially soft formula without silicone

How to use it:
Distribute the mask evenly on towel dry hair. Keep it in for 2-3 minutes and rinse it of after.

Ingredients:

How I use it:

I like to first wash and clean my hair twice using a soft cleansing shampoo. I usually use a anti-dandruff one or something that adds volume. After that I put about two little scoops of the mask beginning first with the roots and massaging it in and after that gliding it onto the rest of my hair and also on the ends.
Next I leave it a little more than 2 minutes, I leave it about 5-6 minutes. After that I do one more little massage to my roots and I rinse it out.

Final thoughts and my experience with it :

I could not be more satisfied with this product. It does a great job on my hair.
It moisturizes my hair to a point that it feels nice on the touch and not dry at all. It feels very smooth after I rinse it off, certainly it gives a silky texture to my hair.
And on top of everything it smells delicious, just like a garden in my hair. I love the smell of peaches and the shine that I get after I blow dry my hair.

I have also noticed that since I've been using it, my hair doesn't fall off as much as it did before.

I have only good things to say about the product that is why I give it a full 10 and I recommend it to all of you that don't want to spend too much on a hair mask, but you still want some moisture into your hair.

Thank you for reading this post. Please leave me a comment below of what you think and tell me about your experience with hair masks :)
I always enjoy reading all the comments!
Have a nice day,
xoxo Dee ;)

January's used up products!

This month I made a new challenge segment to encourage myself to use up more of my products.
So far it has been going great for the february products.
But today I wanted to do a post, because I did manage to use up some products in January even without having the actual challenge.
That is why I'm going to do a quick review and share with you my thoughts on this products.

1. Balea Wasserspray - AQUA
This product has the same effect on the skin as the Evian Mineral Water. The Balea one has also minerals and the only difference that I noticed is that the Balea one is cheaper than the Evian one. I love this product and I can't wait to repurchase it.
Ingredients: aqua, maris sal, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, silica, nitrogen.

2. Rexona Long lasting protection - Clar pure Crystal
It says that it has an incredible white mark protection and that is a 48h active anti-perspirant and has 0% alcohol.
I love this product so much that this is I think my 4th bottle that I have used up. It doesn't leave any marks on my shirts and it really works for me. Even after a workout the smell is fresh. I am really impressed with this product and I recommend you to try it out.
Ingredients: Butane, Isobutane, Propane, Cyclopentasiloxane, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Aluminium Chlorohydrate, Triethyl citrate, Parfum, Dimethiconol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Triethyl Aconitate, Aqua, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal.

3. Essence My skin - Intensively caring cream: For normal to dry skin.
It says that this rich and intensive cream is specially formulated for skin prone to dryness. You can use it in the morning and in the evening as well, after cleansing with Essence My skin products.
I can't list you the ingredients for this product because I don't have the package that came with the cream, but I'm sure you can find that information on their website.
I do recommend you to try this product. It works really well stepping from winter into spring. I find myself using it then mostly. Also I use it when my skin needs a little more moisturizing and it gives the skin a great base for foundation application.

4. Maybelline New York - The Falsies Volum' Exspress Mascara
This is one of my favorite mascaras. I love Maybelline mascaras in general, but the fact that this one has a curved brush it makes me love it even more. I love the application and the volume that it gives to my lashes and because I already have naturally curled lashes it helps me to coat them in the perfect shape.

5. Bourjois 10h Sleep Effect Foundation - for fresh and rested complexion.
I won't go into details about this product here in this post, because I will be soon posting a review on it, since I have used it up. But I will say that this is the second bottle that I have used from this product.

6. Catrice Cosmetics - transparent fixing powder
This powder was from the "Welcome to Las Vegas" collection. It says that it gives a mattified finish and it fixes the make-up. I couldn't agree more. It is a lovely powder. I can't wait to go to the drugstore and repurchase it. Catrice have an amazing selection of products and I recommend you to go check them out. As far as for the ingredients I couldn't read them  because I've used this powder so much that a lot of the information has been erased.

7. Manhattan -  Wake up concealer
It says : Conceals dark circles and light redness - all while making your tired eyes shine. With light- reflecting - pigments. Simply dab on to conceal.
It is light-reflecting and a beautiful product to highlight the inner corner and make it brighter or to highlight the bridge of your nose, but for me it didn't work well for concealing my dark circles. I don't know what it was but I used it very rarely for concealing my dark circles. If you're searching for a dark circles concealer I wouldn't recommend this, but if you want something to brighten up your complexion, than this is the perfect product for you.

8. Catrice Cosmetics - Re-touch Light-Reflecting concealer
It says: Hydrating concealer with light-reflecting pigments. Diminishes shadows, fine lines and signs of fatigue.I am beyond impressed with this product. I did not expect to love it as much as I do. It did an amazing job for me and I am very sad that I used it up very quickly. It is very easy to apply and it has such an amazing finish, it is not flaky under your eyes and you can also use it as I primer over your lids.

That is all for my january empties.
Thank you for reading and if you have any questions or requests please comment bellow or tweet me.
Have a nice day,
Dee.
