Fall Colective Haul: part 2

Hello again :)

As we are aproaching the new year (4 days left-- whaat?!) and since it is already winter I thought it was time to complete my colective haul.

1. I needed a new bottle of this foundation - Bourjois Flower perfection. This is my go to full coverage foundation and I am not replacing it for anything else.

51 Light Vanilla

2. I decided to try out a few single eyeshadows from Essence.

03 Frosted apple

70 Fox in the box

3. Another addition to my Color Tattoos from Maybelline.

35 On and on bronze

4. What would a haul be without some nailpolishes, am I right?
I found the Holiday collection from Essence and had to get all of these.

Essence Holiday Collection nail polishes

Essence Happy Holidays - 01 let it snow

5. Two new lipsticks from Essence, since I haven't tried this collection at all.

Essence Lipsticks

6. And some other eyebrow and eye stuff.. some needed and other not at all.

Essence I love stage eyeshadow base
Essence eyebrow pencil
Essence Liquid Ink eyeliner
Essence Longlasting eyeliner
I hope you enjoyed scrolling through these pictures.
I couldn't write as much about these products since they are pretty new and I don't have much of an opinion whether I love them or not.
In that case I hope you are having a great holiday time.

March Favorites

Hello Beauty world!
Today I am writing about my most loved and reached for products for the past month aka my March Favorites :)
This time the photos will be a little bit of a lower quality, since my Canon camera does not want to obey me.
Anyways let's just jump into it ;)

Body Care:
1. Planet spa Indulgence - Thailand lotus flower & champagne - velvety smooth bath elixir
I have always been more of a shower girl rather than a bath girl. But lately I have started to get more into the bath/relax regime.
And that is why I have fallen in love with this product. It smells amazing and also the smell is not at all overpowering, it's very relaxing and soothing. And it makes my skin very soft after I get out of the bath.

2. Christina Aguilera - Inspire - body lotion
I've had this product for quite a while. It's one of those products that when you get it you really love it and use it all the time, but than you try something new and completely forget about your previous beloved product. Well that happened with this. This month I "rediscovered" this lotion.
It's a very soft and moisturizing lotion. What I love the most about it is that it absorbs into the skin very quickly after the application.

3. Avon Pur Blanca - Elegance
This is my favorite spring scent. Since I got it I haven't been using any other parfumes and I think I won't stop until I use it up.
I am not very good at describing scents, but I'll try :) It is a very suttle floraly scent, I would describe it as a clean scent (yes as in clean clothes) :D
Well there you go.

4. Avon Senses - mystique-  body spray - sensual rose gardenia, jasmine, peach & vanilla
Oh if I start with the romantic story of how I met Mr. Body Spray, this blog post would not have an end.
But on a serious note though I really love body sprays... A lot !
And this one is just a perfect scent that just reminds me instantly of flowers and sunny spring days. It's just lovely.

Skincare & Makeup
5. Avon Solutions - winter night cream
This has been the prefect nourishing night cream for this month, since my skin has been transitioning from winter into "warmer" spring (it's not really springy yet in Slovenia ... please send us some sun).
It a thick cream that gently moisturizes my skin after cleansing and washing.
I love the softness that it gives to my skin after I apply it, and also I love how my skin feels the morning after.

6. Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream - for all skin types with SPF 20 - 00 Fair rose
I have been trying very hard to give my skin a breather this month and I have tried my best to use as little makeup as possible. Also I have switched from heavy/full coverage foundation to a light coverage BB cream.
It is a lovely product and I love that I don't feel like I have anything on my skin. It is pretty moisturizing, but if you have extremely dry skin I would not recommend it just because it does tend to stick to dry patches. But that is the only downside. And since my skin has been great and not dry at all I have been very satisfied with this BB cream.

7. Essence kiss care love lip balm - 01 fruit crush
This product has been a dream come true for me. I love a moisturizing lip balm, but it's a whole other world when it's a little like a lipstick and it smells like a bubble gum. That last sentence pretty much explains why I love this product.

8. Essence I <3 Stage eyeshadow base
This Essence primer has been my loyal companion, since I bought it and it will be soon gone. That makes me very sad, but at the same time happy, because I'll get to repurchase it :)

9. Essence Blossoms etc... - multi colour powder/highlighter - Flower Power
After staying matt for the whole winter, this month I decided to switch it up a bit and use some highlighter.
And this one is amazing. Not just because of the cool pattern but also because it has a very suttle shimmer to it. The particles are barely wisible.
I love to put it on my nose, on the chin and on top of my cheekbones for a nice dewy finish.

10. Essence Sun Club - blondes/lighter skin - all over shimmer for eyes, face & body - Ibiza sun
A multi-functional product. Who doesn't love those?! Well I certainly do.
I have been using this one mostly as eyeshadows and maybe once or twice I used it for adding glow to my cheeks.

11. Avon Ideal Luminous blush - Peach
This blush has been my favorite blush for more than a month now. It's is actually a shimmery version of my favorite blush of all time, which is Essence's blush in Adorable.
Just like the name says it is a peachy blush with tiny gold shimmer, perfect for spring. It makes your cheek stand out and gives them a lovely glow.
12. Essence Smokey Eyes pencil - 03 Are you hot?
Yes I am (just kidding).
This has been another rediscovery within my makeup collection. It a very chubby pencil and also very creamy. I love applying it as a base for a smokey eye and also as eyeliner on the upper lash line.

13. Essence Eyebrow stylish set
I have a funny story about this product.
When I bought it I was like oh great it has two colors, I'll probably use the darker one first (since I have black hair) and I can use the lighter for my crease. Well things didn't go as planned at all as you might notice in the pictures.
Anyways this is my holy grail product for brows. It's the perfect brown for my brows and I love it very much.

14. Essence Get big Lashes mascara - volume curl
This mascara has surprised me very much. I bought it just to try it out and it's now stuck with me forever.
I love that it has a big chubby wand, and that it is curled. It coats my lashes perfectly and gives them an equal amount of volume and length.

And that is all for today's post.
I hope you liked my favorites, maybe we had some mutual ones:)
What are your favorites?

Thank you for reading and have a nice day,
Dee.

Would you rather TAG !

It's been a long week for me so I wanted to do more relaxing blogs this week and for today's blog I chose the Would you rather TAG !

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
I would rather lose all my palettes and eyeshadows because I can always use different colored eyeliners to replace eyeshadow, whereas I could never replace mascara with eyeshadows.

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I love Rapunzel's hair and I would be thrilled to let my hair grow without cutting it and be able to have a different look everyday so that could be fun.

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Coral cheek and I can't really explain my strange obsession with coral but I love how it brightens up my complexion.

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
No doubt about it - makeup.

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
This one is tricky, I really had to think about it and I think that I would rather apply eyeliner as lipstick, because if I apply lipstick as eyeliner it would run and get messy.

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
I'm not from the Usa but I think I'll go with Sephora because it has a lot of different brands to choose from.

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
One lip color. I think that you can play a lot more with eyeshadow to achieve different looks than if you have only one eyeshadow. At least for me and my features that's how it is.

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Summer clothes in winter for sure, because you can layer them to be warm, where as if you have winter clothes in summer it's going to get very hot and unpleasant.

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
I am really in a dillema about this one but after thinking about it I would rather go with brights, because they make you happy and all the looks can be fun and bright all year long.

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
I would give up my favorite lip product, because again mascara is my favorite eye product and I can not live without it, it makes too much of a difference to any look you want to pull off.

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
I'm going with a messy bun here, because i love how effortless it looks and you can glam it down or glam it up. And it is a little bit better and looser than a ponytail which is a plus for me. I don't know if you have noticed it, but when I wear my hair in a nice ponytail for a whole day at the end of the day I feel that my head hurts a little from tugging my hair. So because of that feeling I am choosing the messy bun.

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Well this was kind off easy because lately I haven't been using a lot of lipgloss and i've been getting myself more into lipsticks. So my answer is: I would rather never use lipsgloss.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
I took the most time to answer and think about this one. I don't think any of this looks would flatter me. But I guess better to have eyebrows than not have them at all.

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
I can't believe I'm saying this but I would rather live without nail polish. And this is coming from the girl that has a big nail polish collection.
But the thing is I love makeup too much to give it up. I love doing natural looks and bright and fun looks and it helps me express myself I think so that is why I went with it.

I TAG all of you out there to do your own version of this tag and please when you do it leave me your link in my comments below.
Thank you for reading,
Dee.

Review: Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set

About 6 months ago I started to put more effort into styling my brows and filling them in.
Before that I usually just plugged them and if I wanted any shaping I would go to my friend's house, because she is the best in making my eyebrows the perfect shape.
Then I started to fill them in and used just an angled brush and a brown eyeshadow. I was amazed by the fact that they looked a lot nicer and put together than before.
So then about a month ago I purchased this eyebrow set.

It is the Essence Eyebrow Stylist Set. I don't remember the exact price, but I think it was about 3,00 €.

This eyebrow set contains:
- 3 different eyebrow stencils
- 2 eyebrow shadows (lighter and darker brown)
- A little angled brush

What it says on the packaging :
Select required stencil and place it on the eyebrow. Hold it firmly at the edges and apply the eyebrow shadow with the brush.

I use it every day right after I do my foundation in the morning. I usually use an angled brush. I have one from Eco Tools and the other is from Essence.

After I apply the eyebrow shadow I brush my brows out and sometimes I brush through some brow gel. The one I use is the Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara.

With all that done my eyebrows are done.
Now I can't skip this step at all, because otherwise I feel that my face doesn't look framed and that my look isn't polished.

That is all for today's post. If you have any questions or anything else to add please live me a comment.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post  :)
xoxo, Dee
